Welcome Sau-Wah Wong, Communities in Schools of Auburn’s New Executive Director!

Communities In Schools Hires New Executive Director

Communities In Schools of Auburn is pleased to announce Dr. Sau-Wah Wong has been hired as the new Executive Director upon the retirement of Arlene Pierini. Arlene served as the organization’s Executive Director for 16 years.

Sau-Wah brings an extensive background in both the nonprofit and for profit sectors, including academic and career counseling for university students and strategic planning for IT, healthcare and sustainable energy companies. Says Dr. Wong, “I am grateful and honored for the opportunity to lead this exceptional organization. Some children face tremendous hurdles that make focusing on school very difficult. With the support of our Board of Directors, our dedicated staff, and partnerships with local business, schools, and stakeholders, I am committed to helping Auburn students and schools reach their full potential.”
